This week one of our Early Years pupils took his first steps in school! Until now he had been using a walker but with increased confidence decided to take his first steps independently. The Staff in Owl class have been busy developing his confidence following advice from the physio team and liaising with parents to challenge Dominic whilst boosting his confidence. He had taken some steps at home prior to this but these were his first independent steps at school and we captured it on video as well! This was a massive achievement for Dominic we are all so proud of him.
When his Mum saw the video she said “What a massive achievement to see him walking at school and thanks for being so supportive”
