Futures students join Lower Primary each Thursday to gain experience working with younger students within school. They work alongside the children assisting them with their learning.
In more recent weeks they have been helping with communication aids following three step instructions using the class Ipad with an app called Proloquo2Go, which is monitored by the Speech and Language Therapists from the NHS who work alongside us here at Severndale. To make the learning fun they use Proloquo2Go a communication game to do this. The class teacher monitors how this is going and the speech and language therapist provides the programme to follow.
