It is part of a National Study led by Newcastle University (FEEDS: Focus on Early Eating, Drinking and Swallowing review) and has been funded by the National Institute for Health Research. They are undertaking clinical research looking at ways to help eating and drinking difficulties in children with special educational needs and disabilities.
