Pupils from Middle were invited to attend the Sportsability Festival at Shrewsbury Sports Village.

Seventeen schools attended the event, from around the county, which provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to engage and interact with one another. Pupils from M6 had a wonderful time participating learning new skills including boccia, kurling and archery. One of the students received a certificate for the archery and said, “I won the certificate and broke the record!” He was very proud of himself.

They displayed wonderful team-working skills and the ability to share, take turns and congratulate both themselves and others on games well-played. The students said, ” It was really fun. I had a very nice time playing with the other schools. They were friendly.”

We’re now looking forward to our next sporting event with our new friends from around Shropshire.
