The upper department were lucky enough to take part in a PE session with three players from Shrewsbury Town Football Club yesterday, Steve Arnold, Jonathon Mitchell and Scott Golbourne came into Severndale and took the time to be involved in a PE session. They then visited a few classes and met different pupils from across the academy who were able to ask them lots of questions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and the pupils asked some really good questions which were very varied from what food do you eat to keep healthy, do you like wearing flowery shirts and all about being a professional footballer. Our students from Middle taught them how to sign in Makaton the words Football and Thank you!
