We would like to say a huge congratulations to the children who danced and sang at the School Games opening ceremony earlier this week.
Throughout this term, a group of students has been working with Shrewsbury Town in the Community to produce a Bollywood dance as part of their PE curriculum. The students have delighted in learning new skills and techniques and they are very excited to be sharing their enjoyment of dance with everyone at the Winter Games Opening Ceremony.
They performed in front of 400 children and adults. They felt proud when they heard everyone cheering for them. They are especially proud of the Certificate and Trophy they received for their achievements. A student from upper primary said ”it was amazing I had tears of joy it was so good and everyone was cheering for us”. Well Done to everyone involved in making this wonderful opportunity a huge success.
